Zora ET's

Zoras are aquactic, blue skinned humanoid ET's that live in Hyrule star system on the planets of Labrynna, Lanayru, Eldin, Faron, Nabooru, Ordon, and Holodrum.  The Zora race are incredibly skilled natural swimmers.  This race varies in its appearance they can be tall, large, or small and slender, there are a few subspecies of the Zora race as they inhabit seven planets.

Sea Zoras are peaceful inhabitants of water planets, they are 8th dimensional beings.  They are highly telepathic and control the electrical currents in the water.

River Zora are warrior class species that can pop up out of the water and fire energy balls at their enemies, they are 6-7 dimensional beings.

The two types of the Zora species are known to inhabit both the ocean/sea and bodies of fresh water on the various planets that they live on.

This is what one of the males of the Zora species looks like, their features and appearance varies according to the different subspecies.

While still generally humanoid, the Zoras resemble various marine creatures in their body structure.  Most of the Zoras wear no clothes, but certain members of their species do wear clothing like princesses, kings, queens, guards, etc.  The Zora are generally covered in silver scales, which give them a pale blue/green sheen from a distance, and have dark blue spots on their extremities.  Where humans sometimes have long hair, average Zoras have rear-hanging caudal extensions of their heads shaped like the tails of dolphins, perhaps as a cephalic form of a dorsal fin, this is characteristic for the Zora males, the females do not have the rear-hanging caudal extensions.  These tails undulate periodically, which gives a Zora's head the unique semblance of a fish.

Zoras have two large ulnar fins located distally on their forearms, and some have smaller fins at their ankles.  They are sometimes depicted as having webbed feet and hands.  Most Zoras lack having ears in the traditional sense, but some of them do have pointed ears and pronounced noses.  Some of the Zoras have no visible gills yet they can breathe underwater, while other Zoras have gills on their ribs, analogous to the placement of lungs on a human being.  The major species of the Zoras have green eyes.

The male Zoras in a dominant position in their society tend to be much larger and taller.  The females have a distinctly more rounder or feminine body features as well as having visible ears, and wide heads, similar to those of Hammerhead Sharks, with extra eyes on the sides.  Not all female Zora share this appearance and may look different than this.  Some of the female Zoras head and face are much more humanoid looking like mermaids, as well as having what appear to be coral-like growths which give the impression of having hair.

When in a body of water, the Zoras bodies emanate a colorful glow, this is possibly a form of bioluminescence that the Zoras on land do not show.  The colors can range in red coloration/aura, a slightly pinkish tint as well as a glowing blue or green color.

The Zora can swim with great ease and agility, using their forearm fins to perform barrel rolls or to jump out of the water, as well these fins are specialized for fighting needs when the Zora need to protect themselves.  The fins can grow larger to serve as sharp-edged weapons which are similar to swords, and even be projected as twin boomerangs; they retract again when not in use.  These fins also grow to act as a shield when defending oneself.

Zoras who possess magical power have the ability to create electric fields around their bodies as a defense mechanism when swimming, much like electric eels do.  All Zoras are powerful swimmers and they can swim up a waterfall.  The Zoras lay eggs to reproduce.  Zora eggs need to be kept in cold, clean water in order to develop healthily, and every egg from the same clutch must be kept together in order for them to hatch.  Newborn Zoras are tadpole-like with a circular body and a long, skinny tail ending in a fluke.  The Zoras can live on land outside of water for a short time but then they will get sick if they stay away from the water for prolonged periods of time, so they need to be water bound in order to have healthy lifespans.

This is what the Hyrule star system looks like with the Zora habitable planets.  The Zora species have government systems that are monarchical with kings, queens, and princesses, the Zora Royal Families are responsible for maintaining order among their peoples as well as making sure that the waters are clean and pure so all creatures relying on these waters are healthy living in the rivers, seas/oceans on the seven inhabitable planets of the Zora species.
