  • 8 sturdy bamboo poles or wooden dowels

  • Twine or Rubber Bands

  • Using twine or rubber bands, group the four bamboo poles into the triangle shape for the top part of the pyramid. The bottom four poles will create a square perimeter.

  • The top poles should each perch onto a corner and have them meet in the center.  Determine the proper height of your pyramid using your intuition and then measure it.  This measure is most suitable for your individual height.  Use a marker to mark the desired height on each one of these poles.  If you desire to use the golden ratio instead, feel free.
